Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And here we are on the season finale of Season 15 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Louise Jameson as Leela and K-9, voiced by John Leeson. This ‘Doctor Who’ adventure is a six-part story by ‘David Agnew’ (a.k.a. Anthony Read and Graham Williams). It sees the Doctor returning to Gallifrey to become the new Time Lord president. It introduces the Vardans as aliens and it features the return of the potato-headed Sontarans. In this story, our TARDIS heroes visit the planet Pluto in the far future, where the human population is being taxed to death. This is a four-part story by the late Chris Boucher, who makes his third contribution to the TV series. Tom Baker stars as the Fourth Doctor and Louise Jameson stars as Leela. They’re joined by Wanda Ventham (who is Benedict Cumberbatch’s mother) and she guest stars as Thea Ransome.
