Diana Rigg – 1938-2020

Hello everyone. 😦

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Just want to share a tribute to Diana Rigg, well-known for playing Emma Peel in ‘The Avengers’ TV series from 1965 to 1968. I was shocked and surprised to hear the news that Diana Rigg had passed away, as I recently saw her in the second episode of the new ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ series. Continue reading

Chadwick Boseman – 1976-2020

Hello everyone 😦

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’m absolutely shocked and upset to hear the news that Chadwick Boseman has passed away. I didn’t see this coming. Not many people saw this coming. I had no idea the actor who played Black Panther/King T’Challa in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ had been fighting colon cancer for 4 years. Continue reading

‘Star Trek’ Tributes

Hello everyone. 😦

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

This year, we’ve sadly lost two ‘Star Trek’ stars – René Auberjonois who played Odo in ‘Deep Space Nine’ and Aron Eisenberg who played Nog in ‘Deep Space Nine’. I’m saddened by this as I’ve enjoyed seeing these two ‘Star Trek’ actors in ‘DS9’, with it being one of my favourite ‘Star Trek’ spin-off shows. Continue reading

Hello everyone.

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

It’s with great sadness that I’ve discovered Terrance Dicks has recently passed away. The news has affected me deeply. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing and meeting Terrance at two ‘Doctor Who’ conventions. He has made an awesome contribution to the ‘Doctor Who’ series and he’ll be missed. Continue reading

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

Lately we’ve had the sad loss of Paul Darrow who passed away this week. As well as giving a tribute to Paul Darrow, I’ve also decided to give a tribute to Gareth Thomas and Jacqueline Pearce who have also passed away recently. June Whitfield – 1925-2018

Hello everyone.

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’d like to give a little tribute to June Whitfield who recently passed away. I’m saddened to hear the news of her passing as I’ve enjoyed watching June Whitfield with Terry Scott in the BBC sitcom series, ‘Terry and June’. I have fond memories watching that classic comedy series featuring the two. Continue reading

Stan Lee – 1922-2018

Hello everyone.

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I want to give my tribute to Stan Lee the man – the Marvel Comics legend who was the brains behind many of my favourite superheroes that first appeared in comics and went on to be in films. This includes my favourite superhero, Spider-Man, who I dreamed about becoming when I was a kid. Continue reading

Barry Chuckle – 1944-2018

Barry Chuckle and Paul Chuckle

Hello everyone.

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I just want to give a little tribute to Barry Chuckle, one half of the comedy duo called the Chuckle Brothers. I was saddened to hear the news that Barry died recently. I’ve enjoyed him and his brother Paul in ‘ChuckleVision’ and consider them to be one of the finest comedy duos of the modern times. Continue reading

Robert Hardy – 1925-2017

Hello everyone.

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’m saddened by the news that Robert Hardy, one of England’s finest actors, has passed away. 😦 I loved watching ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ with Robert Hardy, Christopher Timothy and Peter Davison in it, so it’s sad knowing that Robert Hardy is no longer with us as he was good as Siegfried! Continue reading

Deborah Watling – 1948-2017

Hello everyone!

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

(sigh) Dear Debbie Watling. I shall miss you lots! 😦

I was saddened and shocked to hear that the lovely Deborah Watling had passed away. Debbie played Victoria Waterfield, companion of Patrick Troughton (The Second Doctor) in ‘Doctor Who’. She played Victoria in the TV series and also in the Big Finish audios of ‘Doctor Who’, which I’ve enjoyed. Continue reading
