I’m currently checking out the ‘Doctor Who’ comic stories from the pages of ‘Doctor Who Magazine’ featuring the Sixth Doctor, Peri and Frobisher. I’ve been revisiting ‘Out of Time’ with David Tennant and Tom Baker and I’m about to check out the other two stories in the ‘Out of Time’ trilogy in ‘Doctor Who’ by Big Finish. In doing so, I’ve watched an amazing full animation video by Josh Snares, which was released on YouTube this year back in April. I’m saddened to share the news that Nichelle Nichols, who played Lt. Uhura in the original ‘Star Trek’ TV series, has passed away. I enjoyed her in the original ‘Star Trek’ series as well as the six ‘Star Trek’ films featuring the original series cast. My memories of her as Lt. Uhura are very happy ones. 🙂 Continue reading
