Hello everyone! 🙂

For the purposes of this review, the following YouTube video will do all of the hard work for me. As such, sit back and enjoy my brand-new video review on the third ‘Doctor Who’/’Mr. Men’ book, ‘Dr. Third’. Continue reading

CD review – ‘Red Dawn’ (Doctor Who)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for another old Amazon review to be posted on my blog again! This time, it’s a review on a ‘Doctor Who’ audio adventure featuring Peter Davison as the Fifth Doctor and Nicola Bryant as Peri called ‘Red Dawn’. This is one of the earliest Big Finish audio releases of ‘Doctor Who’ and it features the Doctor and Peri against some Ice Warriors on Mars. The story also has Georgia Moffett appear as a guest star. DVD Review – ‘Hamlet’ (2009)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time for an old Amazon.co.uk review to be posted onto my blog. This is the first one for 2019 I believe. Today I’ve added a new review for the ‘Drama’ page. This is a DVD review on the 2009 TV film of ‘Hamlet’, based on the 2008 RSC theatre production starring David Tennant and Patrick Stewart. It’s amazing that this would be the 10th anniversary of the 2009 TV film based on the 2008 theatre production. Continue reading

‘All Creatures Great and Small’ – Christmas Specials (1983–1985) REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Christmas time!

Okay, no it isn’t. But I’ve added my two reviews on the two Christmas Specials of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ from 1983 and 1985 to my blog! These are the two final episodes that feature what I consider to be the golden era of ‘All Creatures’. It’s where the series ends for me on a personal level, but I will be watching and reviewing Series 4 next. Continue reading

Book Review – ‘Batman’ (Novelization)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve read and reviewed the movie novelization of ‘Batman’, the first from the original ‘Batman’ film series directed by Tim Burton. The novelization is by Craig Shaw Gardner. I enjoyed reading this movie novelization of the 1989 ‘Batman’ film, finding it interesting and comparing what was similar and different from the book to the film. Continue reading

DVD Reviews – ‘Star Cops’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve created a new sci-fi page on my blog focusing on ‘Star Cops’! I’ve also added my reviews on the 9 episodes of the short-lived TV series, starring David Calder, Erick Ray Evans, Trevor Cooper, Linda Newton, Jonathan Adams and Sayo Inaba. This is all in preparation for the Big Finish audios I’m looking forward to listening to soon. The series was originally devised by Chris Boucher in 1987. Continue reading

‘All Creatures Great and Small’ – Series 3 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve finished all of my reviews on Series 3 of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’! This is where it sort of ends for me regarding the original run of ‘All Creatures’ episodes. There are the two Christmas Specials to look forward to, but this is where I feel the series ends for me before it goes downhill. I will be reviewing Series 4-7 after doing the Christmas Specials, but this will not be with the same enthusiasm. Continue reading

TV Review – ‘Call the Midwife’, Series 8, Episode 8

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I apologise for the delay to my review on Series 8, Episode 8 of ‘Call the Midwife’. I was away last weekend for the ‘London Comic Con Spring’. It has taken a while for me to settle back in. Thankfully I saw the season finale for Series 8 of ‘Call the Midwife’ via BBC iPlayer with my parents on Monday. Continue reading
