It’s amazing to think how much time has passed since I saw this movie on DVD in 2004! I saw ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’ recently on the big screen at my local Showcase Cinema in Nantgarw. I’ve seen the film ‘The Aeronauts’ starring Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne at the cinema. This was my Dad’s birthday present film for 2019. He greatly enjoyed it! I greatly enjoyed it too! So did my Mum! It was worth going to see and it felt like a proper adventure film inspired by true events in 1862. Continue reading

Last week, I posted a review on the ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’ DVD to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Scooby-Doo. In a way, I’m glad I did that since I reviewed the two cartoon films from the DVD release. But as they’re also included in the ‘Scooby-Doo! & Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ DVD, should I have bothered? For all I know, I might give the ‘Scooby-Doo Meets Batman’ DVD away. Continue reading
