Having seen the TV series on Blu-ray and revisited the first film on Blu-ray, I’ve at last seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ film ‘A New Era’ on the big screen! In fact, I’ve seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ movie twice at the cinema! In my opinion, I found the second film better than the first film. 🙂 Continue reading

It’s the second day of the ‘Star Wars’ week on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ in May 2022, and I’m sharing my reviews on the ‘Star Wars’ spin-offs I’ve checked out so far. These spin-offs take place between ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘A New Hope’. So, this is a musical film that I saw on Disney+ last Friday. Apparently, ‘Into the Woods’ was released at cinemas in December 2014 and is based on the 1986 Broadway musical of the same name. The first time I saw Jodie Foster was in a film called ‘Flightplan’. I saw this movie at the cinema back in 2005, I saw it again on DVD in 2006, and I recently saw it on Disney+ in 2022. You could argue that ‘Flightplan’ is a remake of the Alfred Hitchcock classic ‘The Lady Vanishes’. There is validity in that. 🙂 Continue reading
