Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

It’s time for me to provide an update on how things are going with me sharing my latest ‘Doctor Who’ story in ‘The Fifth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series – ‘Neptune Connect’, a four-part story where the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy are battling against the Cybermen.

So, the plan was to share the story in February 2025. Unfortunately, I’ve been delayed with other projects. I’ve been working on my updated reviews on Season 15 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, we had Christmas, and there was ‘Happy Who Year’ in Epsom.

I’m still hoping to share ‘Neptune Connect’ on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ soon. It just means it’ll be released a little later in the year. Hopefully, I’ll have the story uploaded by mid-March or by April at the least. At this stage, ‘Part One’ should be completed. I’m currently working on ‘Part Two’.

In the meantime, I can provide you with a preview of what ‘Neptune Connect’ is about. Today, I’m sharing the introduction to the story as well as the prologue and the first two chapters of the story in ‘Part One’. I was able to complete the chapters before Christmas.

Here’s a summary of what ‘Neptune Connect’ is all about.

The Doctor once lost a friend because of the Cybermen. When a fleet attacks the planet Earth, the TARDIS intervenes, only for the Cybermen to escape through a temporal vortex into Earth’s timeline. The Doctor, Nyssa and Billy glimpse an alternative Earth dominated by the Cybermen. To find out what happened and how the timeline was altered, the TARDIS crew follow them back to Earth’s past in the year 2054.
