Happy New Year From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2025

Happy New Year everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the first day of 2025 today! And this New Year is a very important year for me as it’s time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ‘Bradley’s Basement’. Yes! It’s amazing that back in 2015, I began my blog in that year, and I have shared many things on my blog ever since.

I’ve been able to put together a brand-new wallpaper for my blog to celebrate 10 years of ‘Bradley’s Basement’. It contains a collage of all the stories, both ‘Doctor Who’ and non-‘Doctor Who’-related, that I’ve reviewed and written as well as photos of me with ‘Doctor Who’ stars.

Please feel free to check out the new wallpaper I’ve shared in all its glory below.

So, with 2025 about to be a landmark year for me in terms of sharing stuff on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, what should I do to celebrate? Well, 2024 was a year where I was catching up on things, including updating reviews on many ‘Doctor Who’ stories in the classic TV series.

I’m hoping to continue with that, including updating my reviews on the stories in Seasons 7, 15, 20 and 25 of the classic TV series. I’m also hoping to do proper in-depth reviews on Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor and Millie Gibson.

There are Target novelizations of ‘Doctor Who’ for me to check out, including on both classic series and new series stories. I hoped to do a review on ‘The Church of Ruby Road’ novelization/audiobook in 2024, but I will have to do a review on it sometime later in 2025.

There were some ‘Nyssa Challenge’ reviews I didn’t get to do for the 2024-25 mini-review season. Hopefully, sometime soon in 2025, I’ll be making a start on reviewing new ‘Doctor Who’ stories featuring Nyssa for the 2025-26 mini-review season to be shared in December.

There are conventions for me to look forward to, including ‘Happy Who Year at the Playhouse 2025’ in Epsom in January and ‘Capitol Cutaway’ in London in April. Both conventions will have Sarah Sutton as a guest. I’m looking forward to seeing Sarah again.

As well as those conventions, Millie Gibson has been announced for two Showmasters events in 2025, including ‘Collectormania Milton Keynes’ in May and ‘Film & Comic Con Cardiff’ in October, which is great. Whether I’ll see her at those events is another matter.

There are a couple of stage shows I’m hoping to see in London soon. Already, I’ve booked tickets for the ‘Fawlty Towers’ stage show in February and I’m hoping to see the ‘Back to the Future’ musical in August. Both have had glowing reviews, so they should be very good.

I’m looking forward to sharing my fifth and final season of ‘Fifth Doctor’ stories by me on ‘Bradley’s Basement’, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy, including the first story ‘Neptune Connect’, featuring the Cybermen. Do stay tuned for more details on that story.

There’s bound to be plenty of Big Finish audio reviews for me to share as well as reviews on movies being shown at the cinema. I’m excited about ‘Captain America: Brave New World’, the live-action remake of ‘Snow White’, and ‘Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’.

Series 15 of ‘Doctor Who’ will be on its way soon on BBC TV and BBC iPlayer, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor, Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday. No doubt, I’ll be sharing reaction videos on the episodes as well as a quick review on Series 15. 🙂

I planned to do a ‘Power Month II’ review season on some ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ episodes in 2024, which sadly didn’t happen. I can’t guarantee I’ll be doing that in 2025, but it’s something to do once I get around to it and hopefully, it’ll be worthwhile.

Last year, we had Series 5 of the new ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ TV series on Channel 5 from October to November. No doubt, we’ll have Series 6 of the new ‘All Creatures’ series shown in late 2025 and a Christmas Special, which should be exciting.

I can’t guarantee that I’ll be sharing quick reviews on shows being shown on Disney+ like ‘Star Wars’ and ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ shows. Hopefully, I’ll do something to commemorate those film universes for my blog’s 10th anniversary in some form or other.

I’ll be continuing with the Disney+ Roundups of film reviews on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ as I did in 2023 and 2024. The amount of Disney+ Roundups might be infrequent in 2025 than in previous years, but I’m hoping I will share my thoughts on films currently available on Disney+

2025 is going to be a landmark year on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ to celebrate 10 years on my blog. I’m amazed I’ve come this far with sharing reviews and stories on my blog since I began in 2015. I’m looking forward to sharing the 10th anniversary celebrations in style. 🙂

Wishing you a very Happy New Year for 2025. Here’s to ‘Bradley’s Basement’s tenth year and please keep safe!

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
