As it’s Good Friday tomorrow, it’s a good time to revisit two dramatised productions of the story of Jesus Christ and the wonderful miracles he performed. The two productions of Jesus’ story that I’ve reviewed include the 1977 TV mini-series ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, starring Robert Powell as Jesus, and the 1999/2000 animated film ‘The Miracle Maker’, featuring Ralph Fiennes as the voice of Jesus. The Easter weekend is nearly upon us! It’s the 60th anniversary of ‘Doctor Who’ this year and we’re currently checking out the Tom Baker/Fourth Doctor era. As such, for this year’s Easter review season, let’s check out the BBC audio series ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’. All 15 audios of it! We start off with ‘Hornets’ Nest’ and check out the first story called ‘The Stuff of Nightmares’ by Paul Magrs, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor and Richard Franklin as Mike Yates.
