It’s time for the second of the two new ‘Short Trips’ fan-fiction stories of ‘Doctor Who’ added to my ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog for Christmas 2016. This has been added to the ‘Short Trips by Tim Bradley’ page on my blog.

The ‘Short Trip’ for today is called ‘Foundations of Life’ featuring Romana I, K-9 and the Fourth Doctor. The story has Romana, K-9 and the Doctor visiting an alien world where blue-tinged alien flowers are alive.

Here’s a synopsis for ‘Foundations of Life’.

The Doctor, Romana and K-9’s visit to a cafe on Earth gets interrupted, when they’re taken to the planet Vicaton V where they face blue-tinged flowers.

I wrote this ‘Short Trip’ in December 2012 after the tragic passing of Mary Tamm who played Romana I in ‘Doctor Who’ in July of that year. This ‘Short Trip’ is a tribute to Mary who I loved seeing as Romana from ‘The Key to Time’ season on TV.
