It’s funny. For a long time, I’ve never considered the idea of Roald Dahl‘s ‘Matilda’ being a musical that seriously. The stage show had a trial run in Stratford-upon-Avon from 2010 to 2011 before it had its West End premiere in 2011. Apparently, it’s a popular stage show, yet I’ve not seen it myself. For my birthday this year, I saw the latest ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film at the cinema called ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
