We have come to the end of the second set of ‘Nest Cottage Chronicles’ in ‘Doctor Who’. Today, it’s time for ‘Sepulchre’, the fifth and final story of ‘Demon Quest’ by Paul Magrs, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates and Susan Jameson as Mrs. Wibbsey. This story also features Nigel Anthony as the Host and Carole Boyd as the Old Friend. Will I find this a satisfying conclusion to ‘Demon Quest’ compared to the first four audio episodes? Here we are on the third story of ‘Demon Quest’ in ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’ of ‘Doctor Who’ called ‘A Shard of Ice’. This audio adventure stars Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, Richard Franklin as Mike Yates and special guest star Samuel West as Albert Tiermann. There’s also Carole Boyd as Frau Herz, Jan Francis as the Ice Queen, Tom Lawrence as Hans and Susan Jameson who briefly appears as Mrs. Wibbsey at the story’s end. Continue reading

For Christmas 2021, I gave my Mum the complete series of ‘Hetty Wainthropp Investigates’. This is a crime drama series, featuring Patricia Routledge as the title character.
