‘Doctor Who’ 60th Anniversary Marathon – ‘Battlefield’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And welcome to Season 26 of the classic ‘Doctor Who’ TV series. It’s Sylvester McCoy’s third and final season as the Seventh Doctor, and it’s the final season of the classic TV series. This story is a U.N.I.T. adventure, featuring the return of Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart and it introduces Angela Bruce as Brigadier Winifred Bambera. There’s also Jean Marsh who guest stars as Morgaine. ‘Battlefield’ can be checked out on DVD, Blu-ray and Britbox. I highly recommend checking out the movie-length Special Edition version of this story, which is on DVD and Blu-ray. Continue reading
