Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve reviewed the 1947 film ‘Good News’, starring June Allyson and Peter Lawford. This is a musical romantic comedy film about a campus football hero who falls in love with a part-time librarian. The film is based on the 1927 stage play of the same name and is the second film adaptation to be made. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I had a great time watching Series 9, Episode 5 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on Sunday night after seeing the ‘Doctor Who’ episode ‘Praxeus’. It featured quite a surprise development with Jenny Agutter as Sister Julienne’s character. It’s one that I didn’t expect to occur and I believe it’s the first time it happened. 😀 Continue reading

After the insanity that went on in ‘Fugitive of the Judoon’ the previous week, I suppose things would’ve calmed down by the time we got to the next episode. And they do, but I was hoping for a big follow-up to the exciting revelations we’ve had so far, especially with Chris Chibnall co-writing this. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 5, Episode 4

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I enjoyed Series 5, Episode 4 of ‘Grantchester’ yesterday on ITV1. I did find it better than the previous episode of the series and that’s probably due to me getting clarity on where the character journeys were going. Also, the murder mystery reveal for this episode took me totally by surprise. 😀 Continue reading

Book Review – ‘Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’m about to check out the ‘Spider-Man’ PS4 game on YouTube. But before that, I decided to read the prequel novel ‘Spider-Man: Hostile Takeover’ by David Liss. I greatly enjoyed reading the book. It’s a brilliant ‘Spider-Man’ novel to tie into the game as well as being a pretty good standalone ‘Spidey’ story. Continue reading
