The Journey of Richard E. Grant in the Ncuti Gatwa era of ‘Doctor Who’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve put together a video containing my reactions to Omega’s return to the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series in the two-part finale of Series 15 called ‘Wish World’/’The Reality War’. This includes my reaction to the announcement of his return in ‘Wish World’ and my reaction to his reveal in ‘The Reality War’. Both reactions come from my Quick Reactions videos on ‘Wish World’ and ‘The Reality War’ respectively.

I’ve put together a video containing my reactions to Richard E. Grant’s surprise cameo in the ‘Doctor Who’ Series 14 episode ‘Rogue’ and the missed opportunities for Richard E. Grant to appear again in the montages of the Doctor’s faces in episodes of Series 15, including ‘The Story & The Engine’ and the two-part finale ‘Wish World’/’The Reality War’. These reactions come from my Quick Reactions videos on ‘Rogue’, ‘The Story & The Engine’, ‘Wish World’ and ‘The Reality War’ respectively.

Enjoy!

Please feel free to check out the rest of my Quick Reactions videos on ‘Rogue’, ‘The Story & The Engine’, ‘Wish World’ and ‘The Reality War’ by clicking on the links.

Richard E. Grant’s Doctor from Scream Of The Shaka may at this point be another pre-Hartnell Doctor like Jo Martin’s. Of course Derek Jacobi’s Master from that story is an ultimate contradiction to that. Whatever the point, it nourishes the imagination at best for fans.

      Hi scifimike,

Actually, thinking about it, Richard E. Grant’s Doctor from ‘Scream of the Shalka’ being a pre-Hartnell Doctor like Jo Martin’s Fugtive Doctor would make sense and be a thrilling idea. I would welcome that notion as long as it was acknowledged and explored in the TV series and the Big Finish audios. It didn’t happen in the Ncuti Gatwa era, sadly, but the potential of it being explored further could still happen. That way, ‘Scream of the Shalka’ wouldn’t be considered a non-canon story as it’s been often been thought of since it came out in 2003.

      Best wishes,

      Tim 🙂
