Book Review – ‘Iron Man’ (Novelization)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

To honour the memory of Peter David, who sadly passed away in May 2025, I’ve read and reviewed the movie novelization of the first ‘Iron Man’ movie in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’. It’s been great to check out this movie novelization and find out how the ‘MCU’ begins in prose form via Peter David’s superb style of writing.

I’ve added my review on the first ‘Iron Man’ movie novelization by Peter David to my review of ‘Iron Man’ itself. Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my book review by clicking on the link for it. Hopefully, someday, I’ll get to check out the remainder of the ‘MCU’ movie novelizations, including ‘The Incredible Hulk’ and ‘Iron Man 2’.

There’ll be more ‘Doctor Who’ novelizations coming to my blog soon, including a brand-new review on ‘Doctor Who – The Greatest Show in the Galaxy’ Target novelization by Stephen Wyatt with the unabridged audiobook reading by Sophie Aldred. Stay tuned for news on that Target novelization/audiobook soon.

Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂

      Hi Ben,

I agree. It’s sad that Peter David passed away this year. I’ve greatly enjoyed his novelizations of the original ‘Spider-Man’ film trilogy, the 2005 ‘Fantastic Four’ film, ‘Batman Forever’ and recently ‘Iron Man’. Hope to check out more of his work in future.

      Best wishes,

      Tim 🙂
