Christmas with Sarah Sutton on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2024

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

“Merry Christmas Sarah!” 🙂

I received a very nice Christmas present from Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’) today. It’s a photo of her as Nyssa in ‘Snakedance’ with a message saying, “To Tim “Happy Christmas and a Happy 2025″ Best Wishes, Sarah Sutton”. It was terrific of her to send it.

My Dad purchased the photo from Sarah via her website. I received a similar photo from Sarah when I first discovered her website back in November 2023. I don’t mind having the same photo from Sarah with the Christmas message on it. It’s a very lovely photo indeed.

I’ve had a couple of Christmas-related photos with Sarah over the years, including at the ‘MCM Birmingham Comic Con’ in November 2017 and at the ‘Scarborough Comic Con’ in November 2023. On both occasions, Santa Cuddles joined us in the Christmas photos.

When I had my ‘WHO GIRLS Calendar 2013’ calendar from Fantom Films in 2012, I asked Sarah to sign the calendar for me at ‘Collectormania Glasgow’ in August 2012. She signed it with “Merry Christmas Tim!” on her photo for December, which was lovely of her.

Sarah and her Doctor – Peter Davison – have also had a Christmas photo together via Big Finish when they recorded the ‘Doctor Who’ audio story ‘Tomb Ship’. It’s a lovely photo of them together pulling crackers at Christmas time and it’s also one of my favourites photos.

Merry Christmas from Sarah Sutton and Peter Davison.

Last year, I recorded a Christmas message with Sarah at the ‘Scarborough Comic Con’, which I shared on Christmas Day in 2023 on my blog and via YouTube. I’m very pleased Sarah and I did the message together. Please feel free to check out the message below. 🙂

There are some more videos to check out that have become my favourites, including Sarah and Peter’s panel talk at ‘Comic Con Mania Leicester’ in April 2024. The video was recorded by Sophie Le-butt1978, and my starring moments occur at 04:50 and 25:25. 😀

I also recorded two interviews with Sarah on two non-‘Doctor Who’ roles. This includes her first role as Baby Roo in the 1970s Phoenix Theatre production of ‘Winnie the Pooh’, recorded in Leicester in April 2024. And there’s her role of Diana Purwell in ‘The Moon Stallion’, recorded at the ‘Exeter Comic Con and Gaming Festival’ in October 2024. 😀

Please feel free to check out these videos in my blog post today!

Thanks for reading and watching!

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
