Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

And now we come to the fourth and final instalment of ‘The Sunfire Chronicles’ mini-series of ‘Doctor Who’ stories by me on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. The first story was called ‘The Horns of Wulfe’, featuring the Fourth Doctor, Private James Darby and Bazoon ‘Bazooie’ the Miggie; the second story was called ‘Romance and the Cow Creamer’, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy Walker; and the third story was called ‘The Race of Endurance’ featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa, Tegan Jovanka and Michael Anderson.

Today’s final ‘Sunfire’ story is called ‘Quasar of Sarfenia’ and is by me and Alan Camlaan (Wolfie). It features the Sixth Doctor, Peri Brown and Frobisher and is part of ‘The Sixth Doctor by Tim Bradley’ series as well as my ‘Short Trips’ collection. It’s also part of the Divergent Wordsmiths series of Sixth Doctor, Peri and Frobisher stories by Alan Camlaan. Frobisher was a shapeshifting companion introduced in the ‘Doctor Who’ comics with the Sixth Doctor who often took the shape of a penguin. In the Divergent Wordsmiths series, the Sixth Doctor, Peri and Frobisher have appeared in stories like ‘Eden by Annhilation’, ‘The Ghosts of Peladon’ and recently in ‘The Alchemists of Fear’.

In ‘Quasar of Sarfenia’, the Sixth Doctor, Peri and Frobisher are recovering from the events of ‘The Alchemists of Fear’ where they end up on the planet Sarfenia. They must help Becceri and her lover Jimrock to confront the menaces of Queen Melbud and the Sontaran headhunter called Wulfe as well as save Sarfenia from devastation. The Sixth Doctor, Peri and Frobisher visit the planet Sarfenia, where the tyrant queen Melbud rules. She has a powerful cannon that can obliterate its neighbouring worlds. The Doctor is about to uncover why Becceri has been on the run and why Wulfe the Sontaran hunted her.
