Here are my thoughts on seeing ‘Spider-Man 2’, the second ‘Spider-Man’ film of the Tobey Maguire/Sam Raimi film trilogy, which was shown recently at cinemas this year. This is part of the marathon of the eight live-action ‘Spider-Man’ movies being shown at cinemas in the UK from August to September in 2024.

Bradley's Basement 
An excellent review. Personally speaking I consider Spider-Man 2 to be the finest Spider-Man movie ever made. It raised a bar for the comic book genre that few if any movies have been able to reach. An incredibly influential comic-book movie which changed the genre. What makes it the best Spider-man film is its strong relatability. It makes Peter Parker one of the most relatable heroes which anyone can identify with.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on ‘Spider-Man 2’ and for sharing your link to your review on the movie. I still hold ‘Spider-Man 2’ in high regard and love checking it out on DVD, Blu-ray and on Google Play. It was great to see it again on the big screen recently and I found myself emotionally invested in the character journeys of Peter, Mary Jane and Harry and I love Alfred Molina as Doc Ock. J. K. Simmons is also very funny as J. Jonah Jameson.
