Happy Easter everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Easter Sunday today and I hope you’re enjoying the Easter holidays so far. Last year, I shared an Easter greeting with Sarah Sutton when I saw her at the ‘Devcon Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair’ in March 2024. This year, I’m glad I did an April Fools video with Sarah. Continue reading

Happy Easter everyone! 🙂

Today is Easter Sunday, and here’s a special message by me via YouTube where I’m joined by Sarah Sutton, who plays Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’. We recorded this Easter greeting at the ‘Devcon Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair’ in March 2024. I’m pleased I got to do this Easter message with Sarah. Continue reading

Good Friday 2024

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s Easter time, and a happy Good Friday to you all! 🙂 Today, I’m sharing a review on a Christian film that I’ve avoided seeing since it was released in 2004. How fitting that I’ve at last seen and reviewed this film 20 years later. It’s ‘The Passion of the Christ’, a film directed by Mel Gibson and starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus Christ. Continue reading

Quick DVD Review – ‘Streetwise’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last week on Good Friday, my parents and I checked out the ‘Streetwise’ DVD, which was what I got for Dad last Christmas. This has eight biblical stories from the Gospel of Luke, with narration by Roy Castle. It was nice to revisit these children’s bible stories, having watched and heard them as a kid. 🙂 Continue reading

Happy Easter From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2023

Happy Easter everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Easter Sunday is here! 🙂 We live in a world where there is a lot of turmoil and strife, but I pray everyone is keeping safe and enjoying the Easter weekend. I know I am with celebrating the occasion, especially since Easter is a time to remember Jesus, the Son of God, who died on the cross to save us from our sins. Continue reading

Good Friday 2023

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s Easter time again! I’m pleased it’s Easter, as I enjoy the time to commemorate and remember Jesus Christ’s love for us when he died on the cross to save us from our sins. It’s nice to spend time on a Good Friday morning to remember Jesus. I also enjoy spending time with my family over Easter. Continue reading

‘Jesus of Nazareth’ & ‘The Miracle Maker’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

As it’s Good Friday tomorrow, it’s a good time to revisit two dramatised productions of the story of Jesus Christ and the wonderful miracles he performed. The two productions of Jesus’ story that I’ve reviewed include the 1977 TV mini-series ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, starring Robert Powell as Jesus, and the 1999/2000 animated film ‘The Miracle Maker’, featuring Ralph Fiennes as the voice of Jesus. DVD Review – ‘It’s a Boy!’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

For my final weekly full-length Christmas review this year, let’s take a look at the 2005 CGI animated short film called ‘It’s a Boy!’ This film is about the Nativity told from the point of view of three quails. It features the voice talents of Steven Berkoff, Joe Pasquale and the comedic duo of Cannon and Ball. 🙂 Continue reading

Happy Easter From ‘Bradley’s Basement’ 2022

Happy Easter everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s time to celebrate Easter again! Thankfully, at this time, pandemic restrictions have eased quite significantly in the UK. I still advise you to keep safe, but hopefully we can enjoy Easter a little better compared to the last couple of Easters we’ve had in previous years. I hope you’ll be able to enjoy the Easter holidays this year. I’m sure there are some Easter Eggs to enjoy! 😀 Continue reading
