For my Mum, I got her ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One’ on Blu-ray for Christmas. 🙂 For my Dad, I got him the musical film ‘Anchors Aweigh’, starring Frank Sinatra, Kathryn Grayson and Gene Kelly for Christmas. It’s been quite a long journey, but my parents and I have managed to see all the episodes of ‘The Muppet Show’ on Disney+. DVD Review – ‘Summer Stock’

And welcome to the third instalment of this year’s ‘Judy Garland Film Review Season’!

It’s time to take a look at a film featuring Judy Garland which was made in 1950. This film is called ‘Summer Stock’ and it has her pairing up with Gene Kelly, who is well-known for starring in the 1952 film ‘Singin’ in the Rain’. Judy and Gene worked together before in the 1942 film called ‘For Me and My Gal’. Continue reading
