For my Mum, I got her ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning: Part One’ on Blu-ray for Christmas. 🙂 For my Dad, I got him the musical film ‘Anchors Aweigh’, starring Frank Sinatra, Kathryn Grayson and Gene Kelly for Christmas. It’s been quite a long journey, but my parents and I have managed to see all the episodes of ‘The Muppet Show’ on Disney+. We started checking out ‘The Muppet Show’ in 2021, revisiting Seasons 1, 2 and 3 on Disney+ after initially checking them out on DVD. We’ve now seen all of Seasons 4 and 5. Continue reading

And welcome to the third instalment of this year’s ‘Judy Garland Film Review Season’!
It’s time to take a look at a film featuring Judy Garland which was made in 1950. This film is called ‘Summer Stock’ and it has her pairing up with Gene Kelly, who is well-known for starring in the 1952 film ‘Singin’ in the Rain’.
