And we’re back! ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ is back with the new TV series presenting its second season on Channel 5! I’ve been looking forward to seeing Series 2 after enjoying Series 1. 🙂 Continue reading

And welcome everyone to the third instalment of the ‘Time Lord Victorious’ review season of ‘Doctor Who’!

Let’s take a look at ‘Doctor Who Magazine’s contribution to the ‘Time Lord Victorious’ series as we venture into the comic adventure called ‘Monstrous Beauty’. Movie Review – ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

You may have seen the ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Planet of Giants’; you may also have seen the TV series ‘Land of the Giants’ produced by Irwin Allen. But have you seen the 1989 film ‘Honey, I Shrunk the Kids’? I certainly have, both on DVD years ago and recently on Disney+. It was nice to revisit this film. Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 6, Episode 2

Hello everyone. 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley.

I’ve seen Series 6, Episode 2 of ‘Grantchester’! I enjoyed the episode very much and found it compelling. I especially liked the Wisdom of Solomon story given at the end by Tom Brittney as Will Davenport since it’s very fitting for what goes on in the episode. I am worried about Leonard though. ‘Call the Midwife’ – Series 9 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, it took us a while, but my parents and I have finally reached the point where we can get onto watching Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD. We’ve finished Series 9 on DVD and I’ve added my latest reviews on the season on my blog. I first saw Series 9 of ‘Call the Midwife’ back in early 2020. Amazing how I’m revisiting it a year later on DVD in 2021. Continue reading

Quick ‘Monsters At Work’ Review – ‘Adorable Returns’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I greatly enjoyed the seventh episode of ‘Monsters at Work’ on Disney+! It features the return of a character that was in the original ‘Monsters Inc.’ film. I’m pleased John Ratzenberger returned to voice this character. I can’t imagine anyone else who could voice this character and it fun to see him. Continue reading

Quick Movie Review – ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

Well, I’ve seen the latest film in the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ at the cinema – ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’. This makes it the fifth film I’ve seen at a cinema in 2021. I’m sure I’m going to lose count on how many films I’ve seen at the cinema this year, but I’m glad I’ve seen this lately. 🙂 Continue reading

DVD Review – ‘Tolkien’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Once again, I’ve had an opportunity to revisit ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’ film trilogies in the world of Middle-Earth. Whilst doing that, I’ve had a chance to revisit the 2019 biographical film ‘Tolkien’, starring Nicholas Hoult and Lily Collins. My parents and I have seen this film more times on DVD and on Disney+ since seeing it for the first time at the cinema back in 2019. Continue reading
