I’ve greatly enjoyed ‘Around the World in 80 Days’, starring David Tennant. It’s a very well-put together period TV series. Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Before we begin, I just want to give you a heads-up as to what you’re about to expect concerning these reviews I’m sharing today. These reviews are based on my personal experiences of a crime TV series I’ve watched on Blu-ray lately. They do not reflect other people’s opinions about ‘Sherlock’. 😐 Continue reading

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

On Boxing Day this year, I saw the first two episodes of ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ with David Tennant. I greatly enjoyed the first two episodes. I was lucky in being able to see ‘The Larkins at Christmas’ on Christmas Day itself! 🙂 I was afraid I might miss it, as it clashed with the timing for the 2021 Christmas Special of ‘Call the Midwife’ on BBC One. Thankfully I was pretty lucky to see ‘The Larkins at Christmas’ on a repeat channel for ITV1. Continue reading

Quick Blu-ray Review – ‘Downton Abbey: The London Season’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Let’s talk about the 2013 Christmas Special of ‘Downton Abbey’ called ‘The London Season’. It’s interesting that most of these ‘Downton Abbey’ Christmas Specials don’t have a Christmas theme about them. It’s like how the last three ‘Keeping Up Appearances’ Christmas Specials aren’t Christmassy. 😐 Continue reading

‘The Larkins’ is a 2021 TV adaptation of the H. E. Bates novel ‘The Darling Buds of May’. I was aware of ‘The Darling Buds of May’ before checking out this series, having seen the first episode (I believe) of the 1991-93 series, which starred David Jason, Pam Ferris, Philip Franks and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
