Quick DVD Box Set Review – ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’

My parents and I have just finished atching the complete DVD box set of ‘It An’t Half Hot Mum’! This was a Christmas present I gave to Dad last year and I’m amazed we’ve finished all the episodes over a month! My parents have really enjoyed this comedy series and I’m pretty pleased about that! Christmas DVD review – ‘The Likely Lads’ (1976 film)

This is a review on one of my Dad’s Christmas presents for this year!

This is the 1976 film of ‘The Likely Lads’, based on the BBC sitcom series, starring James Bolam as Terry and Rodney Bewes as Bob. I enjoyed this film very much and I’m glad that my Dad enjoyed it too, since he was into watching ‘The Likely Lads’ when he was growing up during the 1960s and 70s. Continue reading

This is what I had for Christmas from my best mate from school, Stephen.

I’ve greatly enjoyed ‘Blackadder Goes Forth’ on DVD! This is the fourth and final series of the BBC sitcom ‘Blackadder’ by Richard Curtis and Ben Elton. I enjoyed this version of ‘Blackadder’, especially, since its set during the First World War and some of my favourite comedy actors are featured in this. Continue reading

Andrew Sachs (1930-2016)

Hello everyone.

I’d like to make a little tribute to Andrew Sachs, the actor who played Manuel in the BBC sitcom series, ‘Fawlty Towers’. I’m saddened to hear the news that Andrew Sach passed away. 😦 I enjoyed seeing him as Manuel and I cherish very fond memories of watching him as he made me laugh a lot! Continue reading
