Here we are on the eighth ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ story as well as the ninth episode in the TV series. Today, we’re checking out ‘The Probe’, an episode where the Maximals might have a chance on returning to their home planet Cybertron when a temporal probe is looking for them. This was the second ‘Beast Wars’ episode I saw in the half-term week of October 1998. I recorded it on VHS and enjoyed rewatching it again and again. This episode also features Tigatron, who previously debuted in ‘Fallen Comrades’. Can the Maximals succeed in sending a signal to the temporal probe using a signal array?
