Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Day 13 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2024.
Here’s the thirteenth Christmas recommendation by me on ‘Bradley’s Basement’.

I’ve seen all four films of the ‘Nativity’ film series. Out of the four, the one I enjoy watching the most and find worthwhile is ‘Nativity 2: Danger In The Manger!’. Arguably, the first two films are the best out of the four, but I always like seeing ‘Nativity 2’ with David Tennant. 🙂
At the time, David Tennant was well-known for playing the Tenth Doctor in ‘Doctor Who’. To see him in this Christmas kids’ film as a primary school teacher who gets dragged into an adventure with his class and a mad teaching assistant to journey to Wales is hilarious.
And this is so they can perform in a Christmas singing competition. My Dad purchased the DVD of this film back in 2013 and this was after seeing David Tennant’s return as the Tenth Doctor in ‘The Day of the Doctor’. There are plenty of comedic antics occurring throughout.
The ‘Nativity’ film series fell apart by the time the third and fourth films came along, but I still enjoy revisiting ‘Nativity 2’ with David Tennant, and you don’t need to see the first film to know what the setup is about. ‘Nativity 2’ is a movie that’s considered very standalone.
I also enjoyed this film for the two roles David Tennant played, including the main character Donald Peterson and his brother Roderick Peterson, who’s ambitious and sinister. From viewing this film, David Tennant plays the two roles distinctly and superbly.
