Interview with Sarah Sutton – ‘Winnie the Pooh’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

It’s the 1st of May today, and I’m sharing my latest interview with Sarah Sutton (Nyssa in ‘Doctor Who’), who I saw recently at the ‘Comic Con Mania Leicester’ at the Mattioli Arena (formerly Morningside Arena) in Leicester on Saturday the 27th of April 2024. Today’s interview is a very special one, as I chat to Sarah about her first acting job when she was 9 years old.

This is of course when she played Baby Roo in a theatre production of ‘Winnie the Pooh’ at the Phoenix Theatre in Charing Cross Road, London, which premiered from December 1970 to January 1971. I’ve put together this YouTube video containing my latest audio interview with Sarah. I can tell she enjoyed sharing her memories of playing Baby Roo in ‘Winnie the Pooh’ in this interview. 🙂

Sit back, relax and enjoy! 🙂

Thanks for reading and watching!

Stay tuned for my convention report on ‘Comic Con Mania Leicester’, which I’ll be sharing on ‘Bradley’s Basement’ very soon.

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂

      Thanks scifimike,

This is my favourite interview with Sarah Sutton so far and I’m pleased she enjoyed chatting to me about her first acting job involving Winnie the Pooh.

      Best wishes,

      Tim 🙂

      Hi Simon,

Glad you enjoyed my latest interview with Sarah. So far, this is my favourite interview with her. I’m looking forward to doing another interview with Sarah, hopefully when I see her again in Bolton in August.

I’m looking forward to the audio adaptation of ‘Goth Opera’ too. Hopefully, when I see Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton in Bolton in August, I’ll have my CD cover of ‘Goth Opera’ signed by them.

I recently recieved a signed photo from Sarah via her website in the post, which has cheered me up very much – https://bradleybasement.files.wordpress.com/2024/05/to-tim-best-wishes-sarah-sutton-nyssa-the-passenger.jpg

      Many thanks for your comments.

      Tim 🙂
