DVD Review – ‘Seventh Heaven’ (1937)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve reviewed another movie I’ve seen recently on DVD. It’s time to check out the 1937 film ‘Seventh Heaven’, starring James Stewart and Simone Simon with Jean Hersholt and Gregory Ratoff. The film was directed by Henry King and it’s a remake of the 1927 silent film, based on the 1922 stage play of the same name.

The film also features Victor Kilian, J. Edward Bromberg, Gale Sondergaard and John Qualen. My Dad purchased the Spanish edition DVD of 1937’s ‘Seventh Heaven’ and that’s what I’m basing my review on. Is this a film worth checking out, especially in the current times we live in, whether it concerns Covid-19 or war – please keep safe?

Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my review for 1937’s ‘Seventh Heaven’ by clicking on the link for it.

Enjoy!

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
