Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
Having reviewed quite a number of Judy Garland films over the years, it only makes sense for me to review her earliest film appearance that may well be her film debut before she became famous in ‘The Wizard of Oz’. It’s time to take a look at ‘Pigskin Parade’, a 1936 musical comedy film about a game of American football, which incidentally is played in a snowstorm. 😀
As well as Judy Garland, this film also features Stuart Erwin, Jack Haley (who would later play the Tin Man in ‘The Wizard of Oz’ with Judy Garland), Arline Judge, Johnny Downs, Patsy Kelly, Dixie Dunbar, Betty Grable and Anthony Martin. Did I find this film entertaining enough or was it an average musical film not worthy or my time?
Please feel free to check out, read and comment on my review for ‘Pigskin Parade’ by clicking on the link for it.
Enjoy!
Bye for now!
Tim 🙂
