‘THE VULTURE’S PREY’

Please feel free to comment on my review.

The Vulture is back! I know I have a tendency to criticise these 1960s ‘Spider-Man’ episodes, but it’s always nice to have a familiar Spider-Man villain from the comics appearing in one of the stories of the TV show. I just wish that these stories were not so simplistic and the villains were more in-depth.

In the story, J. Jonah Jameson investigates a malfunctioning tower clock. I like how Jameson sees it as his priority to inspect a tower clock rather than the actual people who run the tower clock. Anyway, he gets captured by the Vulture who uses it as a hideout when he commits so many crimes.

Mind you, I’m not sure how he got out of prison since it’s never addressed here. Probably he had help from Electro or somebody like that. Jameson is idiot enough to tell the Vulture where he’s meant to be and this leads the Vulture stealing a powerful military rocket. Spidey soon webslings in!

After failing to stop the rocket theft, Spidey as Peter Parker returns to the Daily Bugle before Jameson causes the clock to start ringing out of control. Spider-Man soon rescues Jameson and defeats the Vulture at the clock tower. Lucky for Jameson to use the clock tower to be rescued here!

‘The Vulture’s Prey’ rating – 7/10
