      Glad you enjoyed ‘The Deepening Rain’. Hmm. A Season 6B story featuring the Second Doctor. It’s a nice idea. Not sure how to go about it though and I would need to check out more Season 6B stories first to come up with a good premise on what I would like to do with the Second Doctor post-‘The War Games’.

        I’d recommend reading the doctor who book world game, or listen to the big finish adventures of the second doctor: beyond war games.

        World Game as well as its sister novels Players & Endgame are peak Doctor Who. Terrance Dicks is the Doctor Who master. I never listened to Beyond War Games, always wanted to.

        Thanks for your recommendations on certain Season 6B stories. I’d like to check out the ‘Beyond War Games’ audio anthology someday. I have read ‘Players’ featuring the Sixth Doctor and Peri with connections to the Second Doctor post-‘The War Games’. Please feel free to check out my review on ‘Players’ by clicking on the link. I’ve yet to check out ‘World Game’ and ‘Endgame’ as ‘Doctor Who’ books. I’m sure they’ll be great to check out, especially with Terrance Dicks as the author.

        If I’m to write a ‘Doctor Who’ story featuring the Second Doctor in Season 6B, it’d have to be a Short Trip adventure. Whether it would feature Jamie and Zoe or not or perhaps just Jamie, I’ll have to decide on that in due course. I’m currently putting together the rest of my Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy series with ‘Neptune Connect’ almost complete. Once the Fifth Doctor series is finished, I’m hoping to do a Short Trip featuring the Fifteenth Doctor and Ruby and perhaps with the Fourteenth Doctor and Donna. Then I can make plans on doing a Season 6B when an inspired idea comes to me.
