    Hi Tim.

I enjoyed reading ‘The Ghosts of Leckwick’. It was just as good as ‘The Five Doctors at Christmas’. Interesting that you were inspired by an episode of ‘All Gas and Gaiters’. I am up to that episode so far.

I enjoyed the chemistry between the Doctor, Nyssa and Billy as well as the twist about Beeston. I wondered if Lord and Lady Tottinghill were also in on his scheme until I saw they weren’t. Professor Rogers was quite abrasive and irritating, although he was nowhere near as annoying as his sister Mabel.

Your series of Fifth Doctor fanfictions has inspired me to do my own series with my own blog. As I stated yesterday, I will be using my character Michael Anderson as a companion to the Fifth Doctor along with Nyssa and Tegan. I’ve got three ideas for stories to make up the first series and I am currently thinking up a fourth. I will need to get an SD card to recover the other three stories as they are on my old laptop and I will need to get them onto my current laptop. So far I have been doing my stories in script form as I was thinking of using them at Big Finish, but as I am becoming less sure if I will ever work there, I am thinking of changing them to prose form. I see that your fanfictions have been done in script form however. It might take a while to change my current stories into prose as I’d already done a lot of them, but I hope I will get it done by next year.

    Take care, WF92.

      Hi WF92,

I’m glad you enjoyed ‘The Ghost of Leckwick’. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the story. I’m pleased you enjoyed the chemistry between the Doctor, Nyssa and Billy as well as the twist with Beeston. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Lord and Lady Tottinghill as well as Professor Rogers and Mabel. I’ve finished revisiting ‘All Gas and Gaiters’ on DVD incidentally. 😀

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your Fifth Doctor series with Nyssa, Tegan and Michael. I look forward to when you share your stories on your own blog someday.

      Many thanks for your comments.

      Tim 🙂
