This Short Trip features the Fourth Doctor and James Darby, a character who appeared in my Fifth Doctor story ‘City of Monsters’ as a corporal. Here, he’s a private before that adventure. This year, we’ve sadly lost two ‘Star Trek’ stars – René Auberjonois who played Odo in ‘Deep Space Nine’ and Aron Eisenberg who played Nog in ‘Deep Space Nine’. I’m saddened by this as I’ve enjoyed seeing these two ‘Star Trek’ actors in ‘DS9’, with it being one of my favourite ‘Star Trek’ spin-off shows. Continue reading

For your information, I’ve updated my reviews on the ‘Doctor Who’ graphic novel ‘The Tides of Time’ by giving individual pages to each of the seven stories featured in it.
