Last weekend, my parents and I went on a little weekend break to Bath. We only stayed for one night on a Friday at a hotel, but it was lovely excuse to get away and have a break. In April 2016, I attended the ‘30th Festival of Jazz, Swing and Cabaret’ at Richardson’s South Downs Holiday Village. Last weekend in October 2016, my parents and I had another enjoyable weekend at the ‘32nd Festival of Big Band Swing, Hot Jazz and Cabaret’ held at the same venue with Tony Jacobs. Continue reading

Last week, I was on holiday with my parents in Amroth in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. We stayed in a caravan at a caravan park next to Amroth Castle. We had a lovely time. I’ve had a nice weekend in Chichester with my parents. We attended the ‘30th Festival of Jazz, Swing and Cabaret’ at Richardson’s South Downs Holiday Village with Tony Jacobs. This was a relaxing weekend of concerts featuring some of the best jazz and swing music from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. Continue reading

I’ve had a nice weekend at the end of February! I was with my parents when we went to Woodstock, outside of Oxford. We spent two days on Saturday 27th to Sunday 28th of February, going to; having a look around and enjoying the sites of Blenheim Palace. This was where Winston Churchill was born. Continue reading
