Quick DVD Review – ‘The Return of the Psammead’

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ and I’m Tim Bradley!

After checking out the BBC’s 1991 TV adaptation of ‘Five Children and It’, my parents and I soon checked out another Christmas present that my Mum had over Christmas 2020. This was of course the sequel to 1991’s ‘Five Children and It’ called ‘The Return of the Psammead’. It was made in 1993! Continue reading

My Mum received the DVD of the BBC’s 1991 adaptation of ‘Five Children and It’ for Christmas this year! My parents and I spent three days watching the six-part serial on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the 27th. It was an intriguing experience watching ‘Five Children and It’ and was quite enjoyable. ‘Call the Midwife’ – Series 5 REVIEWED

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

We’re getting closer to Christmas Day and we’ll soon have the 2020 Christmas Special of ‘Call the Midwife’ via BBC One upon us! I’m looking forward to it, especially with Peter Davison as the special guest star. It’s also good that a vaccine is on its way to counteract the coronavirus. But still, please keep safe. Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 6

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Here we are on the last episode of Series 3 of ‘Grantchester’! I’ve enjoyed Series 3 and the season finale has been satisfying. It’s sad one of the romances in the episode didn’t become successful in the end, but I expected it to be so. I am happy with how Sidney and Geordie’s characters turned out. Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 5

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

After the devastating effects of the previous episode in Series 3 of ‘Grantchester’, I was expecting things to get worse. Don’t get me wrong, there are still dilemmas to be resolved, especially by the end of the fifth episode, but I didn’t find Series 3, Episode 5 as depressing as I thought it would be. 🙂 Continue reading

Quick TV Episode Review – ‘Grantchester’, Series 3, Episode 4

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

This ‘Grantchester’ episode that I’m doing a quick review on is a pretty grim one to talk about. It seems that the mistakes Sidney and Geordie have made in Series 3 so far and how they handle their love lives are coming back to haunt them. And we haven’t even reached the penultimate episode! 😐 Continue reading

Quick TV Review – ‘A Cure For All Ills’ (All Creatures Great and Small) (2020)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

I’ve seen the sixth and final episode of 2020’s ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ on Channel 5 called ‘A Cure For All Ills’. I’m so pleased my parents and I saw this remake series of ‘All Creatures’. It’s certainly different from the original 1978-1990 series, but it’s definitely good as the original series. 🙂 Continue reading
