I was aware of ‘The Darling Buds of May’ before checking out this series, having seen the first episode (I believe) of the 1991-93 series, which starred David Jason, Pam Ferris, Philip Franks and Catherine Zeta-Jones. My parents and I have completed our journey in watching the ‘Call the Midwife’ series on DVD from 2020 to 2021. We’ve recently finished Series 10 of ‘Call the Midwife’ on DVD, which was shown earlier this year on BBC One from April to May. I’ve seen the second ‘Downton Abbey’ Christmas Special called ‘A Journey to the Highlands’, which was shown on ITV1 back in December 2012. Except this Christmas Special doesn’t take place at Christmas time. It actually takes place on the 12th of August as we go to the Highlands of Scotland. 🙂 Continue reading

Usually, this is where a season of ‘Grantchester’ ends, but there are two more episodes to follow since Series 6’s episode count has been extended from 6 to 8 episodes, which isn’t the case in the previous seasons.
