Basement Update – Series 14 and 15 of ‘Doctor Who’ (January 2026)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Just a little update in case you’re wondering why I seem to be off the radar as it were in terms of sharing new items on ‘Bradley’s Basement’. I haven’t stopped thinking about my blog, as I’m planning to share some new posts later in the year, including a few in January.

At present, I’m about to start doing some brand-new reviews on Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series with Ncuti Gatwa, based on the Blu-ray box set release I purchased back in 2024. I’m planning to do the same for Series 15 which I purchased on DVD in 2025.

This past week, I’ve been revisiting the 60th anniversary specials of ‘Doctor Who’ with David Tennant and Catherine Tate to refresh my memory and my reviews of what came before the Ncuti Gatwa era. That way, I’ll be prepared to do my Series 14 in-depth reviews.

I’m aiming to revisit ‘The Church on Ruby Road’ next before I make a start on Series 14 proper with doing an in-depth review on ‘Space Babies’, the first episode of the season. I won’t share my Series 14 reviews individually as before with previous ‘Doctor Who’ seasons.

I’ll be sharing my Series 14 reviews all at once. Hopefully, I’ll be sharing my in-depth Series 14 reviews of new ‘Doctor Who’ with Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson before the end of February, depending on how the weeks work out. 🙂 I might end up sharing them in March.

I also have the ‘London Comic Con Spring’ to look forward to in February and March, where Ncuti Gatwa, Millie Gibson and Verada Sethu will be guests. So, my write-up of my in-depth reviews on Series 14 might clash with me preparing for ‘London Comic Con Spring’.

Suffice to say, there’s bound to be some quiet periods on my blog, but I hope every week I’ll be sharing a new blog post. This includes the continuing updated reviews on the ‘Beast Wars: Transformers’ TV series, which I aim to complete as soon as we get to May.

I also hope to share my thoughts on the latest teaser trailers for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, the upcoming ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film to be shown in December this year. I also hope there’ll be quick film reviews in the weeks that go by, whether it’s via Disney+ or not.

I’m currently working on uploading my latest ‘Doctor Who’ story ‘Swing Time’ featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy. It’s slow progress at the moment, especially as I’m working on my Series 14 reviews, but hopefully, I will have ‘Part One’ complete quite soon.

I’m also reading ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ book by Douglas Adams, whilst listening to the audiobook read by Stephen Fry. I don’t know when I’ll finish reading the book. I hope I will share my review on it sometime in February, which I’m looking forward to.

There are also Easter items to prepare for the beginning of April. I have in mind to share my reviews on the audio stories featured in the ‘Tales From the TARDIS, Volume Two’, including the abridged audiobook reading of ‘The TV Movie’ read by Paul McGann himself.

Anyway, that’s enough to whet the appetite for now in terms of what will be happening on my blog for the next few months. Hopefully, it won’t be long before I share another blog post in January, especially as I have more ‘Beast Wars’ reviews to update and share soon.

I’m looking forward to get cracking with doing my in-depth reviews of Series 14 of the new ‘Doctor Who’ TV series, starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson. It’s taken me a while to get around to doing my Series 14 reviews. Hopefully, it’ll be worth the wait as soon as I share them.

There are also the Target novelizations/audiobooks of ‘Space Babies’, ’73 Yards’, ‘Rogue’ and ‘The Legend of Ruby Sunday’/’Empire of Death’ to look forward to, but for the present, I’m focusing on doing reviews on the TV episodes of Series 14. Stay tuned for more surprises!

Thank you for your patience and continued reading of my blog!

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
