Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
Superheroes have been a regular thing on my blog these past 10 years. Most notably, the Marvel Comics superheroes have found their place on my blog. Spider-Man is my favourite Marvel superhero, but I’ve also shared the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ heroes.
In 2018, I began sharing my in-depth reviews on the ‘MCU’ films to celebrate the franchise’s 10th anniversary. It was partly to do my reviews on the ‘Spider-Man’ films starring Tom Holland, but I also wanted to share my thoughts on the other superheroes.
It’s amazing that the ‘MCU’ has lasted so long since it began in 2008. I’ve been able to see about all of the ‘MCU’ films that have come out at the cinema. Granted, I’ve yet to check out more ‘MCU’ shows on Disney+, but I’m glad to have checked out so much content. 🙂
My first ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’ from May to June 2018. This included my reviews on the six ‘MCU’ films ‘Iron Man’, ‘The Incredible Hulk’, ‘Iron Man 2’, ‘Thor’, ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ and ‘Avengers Assemble’, which I’ve enjoyed.
The ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season 2’ was from September to October 2018. ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Thor: The Dark World’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and ‘Ant-Man’ were given their reviews.
From July to August 2019, I did a third ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’ on the films ‘Captain America: Civil War’, ‘Doctor Strange’, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’. I found them to be very exciting films. 😀
In August 2019, I checked out the ‘Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.’ exhibit held in the St. David’s Shopping Centre in Cardiff. It’s not there anymore, but it was thrilling to experience a ‘MCU’ attraction in Cardiff and take photos of the many superheroes inside.
In 2020, I did my last ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe Film Review Season’ on ‘The Infinity Saga’ of ‘MCU’ films, including ‘Black Panther’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’, ‘Captain Marvel’, ‘Avengers; Endgame’ and ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’. It was thrilling! 🙂
I’m pleased I was able to do my in-depth reviews on ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’ with Timelord007, Wolfie of the Divergent Wordsmiths, and Whiskeybrewer. The reviews were put together during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
Sadly, in August 2020, we lost Chadwick Boseman who played King T’Challa/Black Panther in the ‘MCU’ films. This was such a huge loss for the ‘MCU’ as well as the acting community. Thankfully, we’re able to honour him in the ‘MCU’ films that he appeared in.
In 2021, I started seeing the ‘MCU’ shows on Disney+, including ‘WandaVision’, ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’ and Season 1 of ‘Loki’. I saw ‘Black Widow’ on Disney+ and I saw ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ and ‘Eternals’ on the big screen.
For Christmas in 2021, I enjoyed seeing ‘Hawkeye’ on Disney+ and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ at the cinema. In 2022, I did my in-depth review on ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ and later saw the extended version of the movie at the cinema in August that year.
I saw the rest of the ‘MCU’ film series from ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ in 2022 to ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ in 2025. On Disney+, I saw ‘Moon Knight’, ‘Ms. Marvel’ and ‘The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special’, which is nice.
I’m looking forward to seeing ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ in the ‘MCU’ film series. There are some Disney+ shows for me to catch up on, but I’m very pleased that I’ve shared my thoughts on the ‘MCU’ on my blog. 🙂
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now!
Tim 🙂
