Quick Evening Trip Report – ‘Christmas at Bute Park 2024’ (Cardiff)

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Last Thursday, I enjoyed ‘Christmas at Bute Park’ in Cardiff. It was a breathtaking festival of light. The park was taken over by dazzling light displays, some magical installations, a flickering fire area, laser shows and locally sourced street food and Christmas festivities.

I attended ‘Christmas at Bute Park’ with my parents in 2023, but I never got the chance to share my thoughts on it. My parents and I had a great time attending the show recently. We greatly enjoyed walking through Bute Park and witnessed a variety of lights on display.

It felt very Christmassy to see the lights as we walked. You need to have a good evening to go on it though, as you don’t want to be caught in heavy rain and wind. I originally planned for us to go last Wednesday, but it was heavy with rain that evening, which is sad.

Thankfully, via the ‘Christmas at Bute Park’ website, I was able to change the date for my tickets to attend the Thursday instead of the Wednesday. Before we walked through the light displays, my parents had hot drinks. I had my bottle of coke and margherita pizza. 😀

Below is a gallery of photos I took of the ‘Christmas at Bute Park’ experience. Please feel free to check them out. I’m amazed I took so many photos of that evening. It was an incredibly enjoyable trip to Bute Park in Cardiff and I hope I can do something like it again.

Thanks for reading and checking out the photos.

Merry Christmas everyone! 🙂

Bye for now!

Tim 🙂
