Today is Easter Sunday, and here’s a special message by me via YouTube where I’m joined by Sarah Sutton, who plays Nyssa of Traken in ‘Doctor Who’. We recorded this Easter greeting at the ‘Devcon Sci-Fi, Toy, Film & Comic Fair’ in March 2024. I’m pleased I got to do this Easter message with Sarah.

Well, I hope you enjoyed the video. I’m thrilled to bits that I got to do a Christmas video in 2023 and an Easter video in 2024 with Sarah Sutton. Admittedly, the Easter video is more an interview than a greeting, but I greatly enjoyed the conversation I had with Sarah and I’m sure she enjoyed it as well.

As well as being a time of Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns, let’s also celebrate the occasion by remembering that Easter is the day to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died on the cross to save us from our sins. The Easter story has been shared in many ways.

There’s the 1977 TV mini-series ‘Jesus of Nazareth’, starring Robert Powell; the 2000 film ‘The Miracle Maker’, featuring a voice cast led by Ralph Fiennes; and recently, on Good Friday this year, I’ve shared my review on the 2004 film ‘The Passion of the Christ’, directed by Mel Gibson and starring Jim Caviezel. I’m pleased I’ve shared my thoughts and feelings about these depictions of the Easter story on my blog. 🙂

With the world still going through so much turmoil and strife, I pray that everyone is keeping safe and I wish you all a very Happy Easter today. There’s still plenty to enjoy on my blog, including my latest ‘Nyssa Challenge’ mini-review season. Later on today, I’ll be sharing an updated review on the first story of ‘The Stockbridge Trilogy’ called ‘Castle of Fear‘, starring Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton.

I also hope to share another Easter-specific review sometime this week. What is it, you may ask? Well, to give you a clue, it’s a film that stars Dean Cain who played Clark Kent/Superman in ‘Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’. I’m sure you’ll enjoy my review on it when I get to share it.
