Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
And here we are with another ‘Basement News’ blog post…that I’m publishing in May. Yeah, I’ve been very busy in April, and I wasn’t able to find the time to share a new ‘Basement News’ blog post in that month. Anyway, here we are with the latest ‘Basement News’ blog post for May and beyond.

So, what’s been happening on my blog these past two months then? Well, I’ve finished sharing the Jon Pertwee/Third Doctor era of ‘Doctor Who’ through my 60th Anniversary Marathon, from ‘Spearhead From Space’ to ‘Planet of the Spiders’. I’m currently sharing the Tom Baker/Fourth Doctor era at present, which will soon end in May before I share the Peter Davison/Fifth Doctor era.

I’ve shared summaries on Seasons 9, 10 and 11 and I’ve shared a Reflection on the Third Doctor era. I’ve also shared summaries on Seasons 12, 13, 14 and 15 from the Tom Baker/Fourth Doctor era. I’ll soon be sharing summaries on Seasons 16, 17 and 18 as well as a Reflection on the Fourth Doctor. 🙂

On the 1st of April, I shared my April Fools video on YouTube, which was ‘An Overview of the ‘Doctor Who’/’Mr. Men’ Book Series’. The latest Divergent Wordsmiths anthology called ‘A Sparkle of Doctors: Volume 1’ has been released and contains ‘Part I’ of my two-part story called ‘Interdimensional Rescue’, featuring the Fifth Doctor, Nyssa and Billy. Please check out the story and hope you enjoy it. 🙂

The intention of sharing ‘The Thirteen+ Doctors’ in September 2023 is still going according to plan, although I might be sharing an episode per month in the build-up to ‘Doctor Who’s 60th anniversary in November. We’ll have to wait and see. The editing process is still on-going, but I’ve been able to update and improve the qualities of ‘Parts I and II’ and I’m looking forward to editing ‘Part III’ next. 🙂

I’ve been checking out and have updated the Target novelizations/audiobooks of the two ‘Doctor Who’ stories ‘The Stones of Blood’ and ‘The Androids of Tara’ by David Fisher. I hope to check out more Target novelization/audiobooks soon, such as ‘The Fires of Pompeii’ and ‘The Eaters of Light’. 🙂

In terms of ‘Doctor Who’ audio reviews, I’ve shared my recent review on ‘The Doll of Death’, a Third Doctor, Jo and U.N.I.T. starring Katy Manning as Jo Grant. For my Easter review season this year, I’ve shared reviews on ‘The Nest Cottage Chronicles’, starring Tom Baker as the Fourth Doctor, including the ‘Hornets’ Nest’ series (‘The Stuff of Nightmares’, ‘The Dead Shoes’, ‘The Circus of Doom’, ‘A Sting In The Tale’ and ‘Hive of Horror’), the ‘Demon Quest’ series (‘The Relics of Time’, ‘The Demon of Paris’, ‘A Shard of Ice’, ‘Starfall’ and ‘Sepulchre’) and the ‘Serpent Crest’ series (‘Tsar Wars’, ‘The Broken Crown’, ‘Aladdin Time’, ‘The Hexford Invasion’ and ‘Survivors In Space’). All thrilling stories! 🙂

For Easter this year, as well as sharing my reviews on ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ and ‘The Miracle Maker’, I shared my Good Friday post, which featured a video about the Easter story told by the children of Christ Church in Tunbridge Wells in the UK. I also shared my Happy Easter blog post on Easter Sunday, and I’ve checked out and reviewed the ‘Streetwise’ children’s DVD, featuring Roy Castle. 🙂

In terms of movies, I’ve shared my thoughts on the two ‘Shazam!’ movies, including the second film ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’, which I saw recently at the cinema back in March. I’ve also seen ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’ and ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’ at the cinema in April. I’m looking forward to seeing the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3’ at the cinema soon. 🙂

There’s been a couple of Disney+ Roundups on my blog. In March, I saw the films ‘Race to Witch Mountain’, ‘The Haunted Mansion’ and ‘The One and Only Ivan’. In April, I saw the films ‘The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes’, ‘Super Buddies’ and ‘Space Buddies’. I’m looking forward to sharing another Disney+ Roundup soon, and hope to see the latest film ‘Peter Pan and Wendy’ on Disney+. 🙂

I’ve finished seeing ‘The Musketeers’ BBC TV series from 2014 to 2016, which my parents and I have been watching from the middle of 2022 to early 2023. I’ve also seen and have enjoyed the complete TV series of ‘Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman’ on DVD, starring Dean Cain and Terri Hatcher. And I’ve seen the six-episode ‘MCU’ series ‘Ms. Marvel’ on Disney+. Very soon, I hope to check out more shows like Season 3 of ‘Star Trek: Picard’ on Amazon Prime Video as well as Season 3 of ‘The Orville’, the ‘Andor’ series in ‘Star Wars’ and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’ – all three on Disney+.

I’ve seen the 30th anniversary special of ‘Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ on Netflix called ‘Once & Always’ and I enjoyed it very much. Starting in July this year, I’ll be releasing the ‘Power Month’ review seasons two months per year, where I share my thoughts on every ‘Power Rangers’ episode that have been made over the years. The first ‘Power Month’ will be on the first half of Season 1 of ‘Mighty Morphin’.
May is a month where I’ll be celebrating my birthday. I’m looking forward to when my birthday comes and I look forward to sharing more items on my blog in the meantime. Still no news about seeing Peter Davison and Sarah Sutton together at a convention yet, but I continue to live in hope. 🙂
Thanks again for your continuing support and please keep safe!
Thanks for reading!
Bye for now!
Tim 🙂
