Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Easter time again! I’m pleased it’s Easter, as I enjoy the time to commemorate and remember Jesus Christ’s love for us when he died on the cross to save us from our sins. It’s nice to spend time on a Good Friday morning to remember Jesus. I also enjoy spending time with my family over Easter.
For this year’s Good Friday post, I’m sharing a video depicting the story of Easter as told by the children of Christ Church in Tunbridge Wells in the UK. This video was shared during the Easter Sunday service at my local church last year. I found the video sweet and nice to watch that Easter Sunday. 🙂
Enjoy! 🙂
I’ve shared reviews on TV and film productions depicting the story of Jesus, his death and resurrection, including ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ and ‘The Miracle Maker’. It’s always nice to see an interpretation of the Easter story as depicted by kids. It’s heartwarming to know the Easter story is still being told today. 🙂
I liked it when, in the video, Jesus was giving out hot cross buns to his disciples. 😀 I always stand by the Biblical verse “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John, Chapter 3, verse 16). It’s special to me.
No matter how trying times are in the world, there is the certainty that we will be in God’s kingdom, as long as we believe in him and his son Jesus who died to save us because of his love for us. The Easter story depicted in the video tells us that message really well and it’s very reassuring. 🙂
I wish everyone well and I hope you have a Good Friday!
Happy Easter everyone! 🙂
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
