Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Day 21 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2020.
Are you dreaming of a White Christmas this year?

And no, I’m not talking about the film ‘White Christmas’. I’m talking about the film ‘Holiday Inn’, starring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire, which has the song ‘White Christmas’ by Irving Berlin in it. Here’s a photo of Santa Cuddles with two DVD releases of the film ‘Holiday Inn’ that I love watching.
There’s the DVD release featuring the original black-and-white version of the film whilst the second DVD release features the black-and-white version and the computer colour version. I love watching ‘Holiday Inn’ every Christmas. I really do get into the Christmas spirit once I watch this special film. 🙂
My parents and I tend to see the colour version more than the black-and-white version of ‘Holiday Inn’. I don’t know if we’ll ever try watching both the black-and-white and the colour version one Christmas, but it would be nice to see ‘Holiday Inn’ again this year. It’s one of my Dad’s favourites. 😀
I find the story, the characters and the musical numbers uplifting. I’m pretty sure a film like ‘Holiday Inn’ will allow us to appreciate the years we go through, even through some of the bad ones we have. This film will cheer up you with Bing Crosby singing and Fred Astaire dancing in the 1940s style.
Cuddles is looking forward to seeing ‘Holiday Inn’ this Christmas, especially as it has a cartoon turkey on a calendar who has trouble knowing which day is Thanksgiving Day in November. 😀 Seeing ‘Holiday Inn’ in 2020 will complete my viewing experience of ‘The Bing Crosby Collection’ on DVD. 🙂

Cuddles: ‘Holiday Inn?’ I thought it said ‘Holiday Bin!’
Thanks for reading!
