Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Day 13 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2018.
You may have noticed I’ve shared memories of my Nana in this advent calendar.

Well, here’s a photo of my Nana back in December 2008. I have very happy memories of my Nana back when she was living in Newport and my parents and I would go and see her every week. I also have memories of my granddad on Dad’s side whom I call Bamp but he sadly passed away in 2006.
I recall seeing my Nana a lot over Christmas time as well as throughout the year. As I said in another blog post, my parents and I would bring special meals for her and look after her. We often watch something on the TV whether films; TV shows or ITV soaps like ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘Coronation Street’.
It was my Nana who first introduced me to Harry Hill’s ‘TV Burp’ show on Saturday nights, which sadly isn’t around anymore. My Nana knew of my interests of ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Spider-Man’ that she actually wanted to see the first two ‘Spider-Man’ movies with Tobey Maguire that I had on DVD.
My Nana even saw the two-part ‘Doctor Who’ Dalek story, ‘Daleks In Manhattan’/’Evolution of the Daleks’ with David Tennant when it was on TV back in 2007. I love my Nana especially when she was alive. It’s at times like these at Christmas that I really miss her a lot as well as other friends and family.
I look forward to seeing my Nana again due to my Christian faith as I believe I’ll see her and many loved ones of mine in heaven. Christmas is a good time to spend with family and friends. But it’s also an occasion where we reflect and look back on everybody who has gone to a better place before us.
Thanks for reading!

Bye for now!
