Hello everyone! 🙂
Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!
It’s Day 4 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2018.
So, what photo memory have we got for today from my Christmas 2008?

Well it’s me taking a photo of a train leaving a train station. Of course! Actually this train station shot brings up two memories I have of my Christmas from 2008. The first one was when I met up with my best mate from school, Stephen, for some ten-pin bowling at Hollywood Bowl in Cardiff Bay.
When I meet up with Stephen at times, we often meet up in the Bay to either do some bowling; have a meal somewhere and watch a movie at the cinema. Sometimes we do all three in a row. I’m not sure who won the ten-pin bowling match back in December 2008, but I’m sure it was a draw. 😀
The second memory I have from seeing this train photo is my Mum and I going to meet Dad in town after he went to a work Christmas party at some place I don’t know of. Sometimes my parents and I make a tradition of going into Cardiff town before Christmas Day occurs. It’s not so often nowadays.
Seeing this photo of a train at my local train station makes me think how I didn’t know that two years later I would go on to write my first ‘Doctor Who’ fan-fiction story about steam trains called ‘The Railway of Time’. It was on a summer holiday somewhere in Monmouth where I gained my inspiration.
But yes, seeing this Christmas photo memory of a train at my local train station makes me happy to think that I would go on to write my own series of Fifth Doctor stories with Nyssa and Billy a few years later. The train station has changed since then. There’s a new walkway to get onto the two platforms.
Thanks for reading!
Check out what my Day 4 of my ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar for 2015, 2016 and 2017 were about!
Bye for now!
Tim. 🙂
