Day 9 – ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2016

Hello everyone! 🙂

It’s Day 9 of ‘Bradley’s Basement’s Advent Calendar 2016.

What do Marvel’s ‘Avengers’ and the ‘Power Rangers’ have in common?

Well, they’re both teams of superheroes that have lasted as a long as I can remember. They both have their own series, with the Avengers in the movies at the cinema and the Power Rangers in a TV show that has lasted for over 20 years in various incarnations. Oh and they’re both critically popular!

This YouTube video is by the channel called The Unusual Suspect and it’s a ‘Power Rangers’-styled opening of the Marvel superhero movie ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. The Unusual Suspect has created a number of ‘Power Rangers’-styled openings on various blockbuster movies over the years, including this one.

I enjoyed this video when I saw it, since I used to be into ‘Power Rangers’ when I was a kid. This ‘Power Rangers’-styled opening of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is based on the title sequence of ‘Power Rangers Zeo’, the second incarnation of the Power Rangers and the fourth season of that TV show.

I didn’t watch ‘Zeo’ as a kid, since my era of ‘Power Rangers’ was ‘Turbo’, ‘In Space’, ‘Lost Galaxy’ and ‘Lightspeed Rescue’. But it was fun to watch this ‘Zeo’-styled opening on ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ and to see the faces of the Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk, Hawkeye and Iron Man in the titles sequence!

This ‘Zeo’-styled opening of ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is really cool and well-put together by The Unusual Suspect. I’ve enjoyed watching this video again and again and wonder what a Marvel ‘Avengers’ TV show would be like from this. I can easily imagine it looking great as the TV show called ‘Avengers Zeo’! 😀

Thanks for watching and reading!
