Have you seen this?

This is a very funny ‘Sports Relief’ sketch, starring Michael Crawford as Frank Spencer from ‘Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Them’ with Michele Dotrice as Betty. I missed seeing this on ‘Sports Relief’ night last Friday, but I’m glad I’ve seen it online as ‘Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Them’ is a great sitcom.

I wondered what had become of Frank Spencer since his last appearance on TV in the 1970s. It was fun to see him the same as ever in this, as he tries to get to see his daughter Jessica (now grown up) taking part in a race at the Olympic Velodrome. Frank tries to get there by bicycle and on roller skates.

It was nice to see Jessica all grown-up and having some of Frank Spencer’s traits in her. Betty sounds older compared to last time, as she’s lost her ‘squeaky’ voice. But it was good to see her. Frank sounds more or less the same and talks the same as he did back in the 70s.

If you like ‘Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Them’ like I do, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy this sketch!
