And yes! We’re back on track with another ‘Basement News’ blog post to make up for the absence of a ‘Basement News’ blog post in October, which was taken by the ‘Basement Update’ blog post I shared in that month. This will also be the last ‘Basement News’ blog post for 2022, as there won’t be one in December. It’s time for me to share my completed reviews on Series 4 of the BBC comedy TV series ‘It Ain’t Half Hot Mum’ by Jimmy Perry and David Croft. I’m enjoying revisiting this BBC comedy series. I know it’s something that won’t be shown today (it’s clearly not on Britbox and I think you’ll be able to check it out on Amazon Prime Video), but it’s interesting how Jimmy Perry and David Croft tackled a comedy TV series like this about British India. I’m looking forward to revisiting Series 5 on DVD next. 🙂 Continue reading
