SERIES 7, EPISODE 4
Please feel free to comment on my review.
In this episode, there may or may not be a ‘loch ness’ monster in the loch of Glenbogle. This episode guest stars Michael Maloney as Dr Simon Cotter and John Schwab as Bill who are looking for the monster.
‘Series 7, Episode 4’ rating – 8/10

My family just finished watching Monarch of the Glen and we love it! We watched it on Prime Freevee and we were disappointed that Freevee didn’t let a conversation play out and going to a commercial break. Do, we are interested in buying by the whole DVD sets. Will these sets play on American players? Also do they have closed captains on each episode? If you can direct me to the proper info I will be so appreciative. We have missed a lot of the series due to the Free ee cutoffs for commercial breaks and we would love to see dusk 22 with interviews from the actors.
Thank you, Susan Witt, Fort Worth, Texas

Hi Susan,
Very pleased you enjoyed watching ‘Monarch of the Glen’. I’m hoping to revisit the TV series someday and update my reviews on the episodes. There is a Region 1 DVD box set for the complete series on the US version of Amazon – https://www.amazon.com/Monarch-Glen-Complete-Collection-Various/dp/B004EYT8BA/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3G7AZ89HZG6OT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.GQRXPWFTyzqLFRRzvUyg6yIfsd-09IznmojvOLIiHsJueVt81a2ifUFSbSPJIBwzm5iwa6oDT5H9rBN6r8P7sg.Yo8Lu12LiggcIOOgn9-dqnRsWmZf1trQ1WEhD0Neek8&dib_tag=se&keywords=monarch+of+the+glen+dvd+complete+series&qid=1703692550&sprefix=monarch+of+the+glen+%2Caps%2C161&sr=8-1
I don’t know if that helps with answering your question in playing the series without commericals and on a US DVD player. I don’t know what’s on the complete Region 1 DVD box set since I don’t own it and I own the UK version of the complete DVD box set. Hopefully ‘The Last Monarch’ special feature on the last disc for Series 7 will be there, but I can’t guarantee it.
Many thanks for your comments.
Tim 🙂
