Good Friday 2026

Hello everyone! 🙂

Welcome to ‘Bradley’s Basement’ blog and I’m Tim Bradley!

Happy Good Friday everyone! 🙂 For the past 10 years, I’ve shared blog posts on Good Friday every year to celebrate the significance of Easter. That, for Christians and everyone else, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, died on the cross to save us from our sins!

Easter is a very special time for me, especially to remember that Jesus loved us so much that he died to save us from our sins and to give us life eternal in the kingdom of Heaven. It’s what I always love and remember from this Bible verse that’s from John Chapter 3:16.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life!”

Every year, my parents and I attend church to celebrate the Easter message, and we usually see a DVD dramatisation of the Easter story to remind us of its Good News. Last year, we saw ‘Part Four’ of ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ with Robert Powell on YouTube.

The YouTube version of ‘Part Four’ of ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ is the best version for me compared to other DVD releases, since all the scenes are intact. This includes the Judas Iscariot scene with Zerah manipulating him, and the opening of the Last Supper scene.

Today, I’m sharing ‘Part Four’ of ‘Jesus of Nazareth’ in the video below. I encourage everyone to check out the episode, as it depicts how the Easter story turned out from the Last Supper to Jesus’ trial, crucifixion and resurrection, which I always find very uplifting.

I’ve also reviewed other dramatisations of the Easter story on my blog, including ‘The Miracle Maker’ and ‘The Passion of the Christ’. I’ve still yet to check out and review ‘Ben-Hur’ on my blog. Hopefully, I’ll get around to doing a review on that sometime in the future.

I’m certain that my parents and I will be enjoying our hot cross buns and fish and chips as usual on Good Friday. But it’s also important to remember the significance of hot cross buns and fish and chips on Good Friday, which I’ve made reference to in my Good Friday blog posts over the years.

I wish you all a very Good Friday! Should you get a chance to see it today or over the Easter period, I hope you’ll enjoy ‘Part Four’ of ‘Jesus of Nazareth’. It remains one of my favourite dramatisations of the Easter story to this day.

Happy Easter everyone!

Bye for now!

Tim. 🙂
